Situations That Lead to a Clearing Job
Preparing a lot for construction
A wooded or overgrown lot needs trees, stumps, and brush cleared before a new structure, driveway, or foundation work can begin.
Reclaiming an overgrown property
A section of a property has grown wild over the years, and the owner wants it opened back up for use, whether that's a yard, a garden, or open space.
Clearing for pasture or agricultural use
Land intended for grazing or planting needs trees and undergrowth removed to make the ground usable for that purpose.
Our General Approach
Land clearing is a bigger undertaking than removing a single tree, and it starts with understanding the scope of the site and what the land is meant to become. Our technician walks the property, notes tree density, terrain, and access points, and confirms what should stay versus what needs to come out, since not every clearing job means removing everything on the lot.
From there, equipment and crew size are scaled to the job, whether that's a small residential lot with a dozen trees or a larger parcel that needs heavier machinery to clear efficiently.
Step-by-Step Process
Site walk and scope
The technician reviews the full property, noting what needs to be cleared, what can stay, and any access challenges the terrain presents.
Plan and equipment confirmed
Based on the site walk, a plan is set for tree removal, brush clearing, and equipment needed to complete the job efficiently.
Trees and brush removed
Trees are felled and processed, and undergrowth is cleared across the site according to the confirmed plan.
Stumps addressed
Stumps are ground down or removed depending on what the site's next use requires.
Debris hauled or processed
Cleared material is hauled away, chipped, or processed on-site, depending on your preference and what the job calls for.
Site left ready
The cleared area is left graded and usable, ready for construction, planting, or whatever comes next.
What Makes This Team's Approach Different
Full-site planning, not spot removal
The site is assessed as a whole, so the plan accounts for terrain, access, and what needs to stay, not just what's easiest to clear.
Equipment scaled to the lot
Crew and machinery are sized to fit the property, from small residential lots to larger parcels needing heavier equipment.
ISA-certified oversight
The same certified standard applies to clearing work as to individual tree removals and structural assessments.
Flexible debris handling
Cleared material can be hauled, chipped, or left on-site depending on what fits your plans for the property.
Site left ready to use
The goal isn't just removal, it's a cleared, usable site ready for construction, planting, or whatever's next.

Common Questions
How is land clearing different from tree removal?
Tree removal typically addresses one or a few specific trees. Land clearing covers a broader area, removing multiple trees, brush, and undergrowth to open up the land for a new use.
Can you leave certain trees standing during clearing?
Yes, the site walk beforehand is where we confirm what stays and what comes out, so mature or desirable trees can be preserved if that's part of your plan.
Do you handle stump removal as part of clearing?
Yes, stumps can be ground down or removed as part of the job, depending on what the site's next use requires.
What happens to the cleared debris?
Debris can be hauled away, chipped on-site, or left according to your preference. We'll walk through the options during the initial site visit.
Can you clear land ahead of a construction deadline?
Yes, we can often schedule clearing work around a project timeline, and same-day scheduling is available for urgent situations.
How large a property can you clear?
Our equipment scales from small residential lots to larger parcels, and crew size is adjusted based on the scope of the job.
Will the ground be graded after clearing?
The site is left in a usable condition once clearing is complete, and grading needs can be discussed as part of the project scope.
Do I need any permits before clearing my land?
Requirements vary by property and municipality. Our technician can flag anything relevant to your specific site during the initial walk.
